Prepare Your Group
Dress Appropriately
Weather is unpredictable! We run programs from 25° – 105°, rain or shine. Dress in layers. Bring rain gear and an extra jacket. Wear loose, comfortable clothing. Long hair will be put in a ponytail for helmet fitting. Avoid above-thigh shorts for harness fitting. Hats are suggested for sunny days. Hiking shoes or sneakers are best. Closed toe shoes are a must in order to participate.
What To Bring
Leave valuables at home like watches, rings, etc. If you forget, secure them in your vehicle upon arrival. You are welcome to bring sunglasses and cameras. Bring medications and inhalers. Notify your coordinator of any physical limitations that might limit your participation. We cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen items.
Eat Beforehand!
Eat a substantial meal before attending the program or bring a snack. Our activities are physical in nature and require more energy than you might be used to in a normal day. In addition, the program’s schedule may not break at a regular time for a meal. Please check with your coordinator to see if lunch will be provided.
