How It Works
We have utilized more than 30 years of experience in team building and leadership development to create Virtual Shifting Gears. This program will never be a substitute for our “in-person” programming but for teams working remotely, this program is an effective way to build team camaraderie, develop communication & collaboration skills while having fun. Like our other programs, Virtual Shifting Gears can be customized to meet YOUR specific goals and objectives. A seasoned facilitator will guide the group through the activities while facilitating the learning process and outcomes.

How It Works
This is our newest version of our wildly popular Virtual Shifting Gears program. We completely reinvented the program while keeping the most important components… making connections with other people, solving challenging problems and learning through our facilitated learning process that makes it more than just a fun activity. The program takes place in four, 15-minute segments and participants will be on a new team for each one. Segments 1 and 3 have the same format and segments 2 and 4 have the same format. Repeating the formats in the second half of the program allows teams to learn from their past experience and make changes based on lessons learned. Watch the video for more detailed information.

How It Works
Just like our in-person program, teams are tasked with planning and embarking on an expedition to Antarctica. The goal is to get to the Ross Ice Shelf and collect as many specimens as possible in just 20 weeks. Teams are outfitted with sufficient but not excessive resources for the journey so planning, collaboration and teamwork are critical to the overall success of the mission. This tabletop simulation will transport your team to the unexplored regions of the Southern Hemisphere in an unforgettable and unforgiving trek across Antarctica.
